The Hunt For A New Mechanic

The Hunt For A New Mechanic

by Pedal Pedlar September 30, 2016

Yep. We're looking for a new mechanic to join us at our London shop. The position is open now, but we're looking for the right person so we're in no mad rush to fill the role. It comes at an exciting time as we're currently fitting out our new mini-warehouse to handle our restoration work. So we're looking for a full-time mechanic to work 5 days a week in the shop including 1 weekend day.

The role will be a regular mechanics role, but as you would expect a good chunk of our repair work is on older cycles. So we need an all-round experienced mechanic who has a shop background, and is competent working on all types of bicycle. Formal training is not necessary but is always welcomed, what we're really looking for is a practical problem solver with an eye for detail, and someone who can communicate well with customers.

If this sounds like a pair of boots you'd like to fill, please send your CV & a cover email to jobs@pedalpedlar.co.uk. We'll be starting trial shifts right away.

Thanks for reading :)
