Wow. Wow. Wow.
Such a treat to have this mid-century Peugeot in our collection. A 1952 PC40 Model Homme, the 'lightweight' tourisme model.
It has had a few changes over the years, but it's mostly original, which is pretty incredible for a bike of almost 70 years old! The wheels are not perfect but they are most certainly the original wheels, as the 1952 catalogue is the only year to show the Menal 51 lightweight rims, so we've kept this baby as original as possible.
Certainly one for the collectors. See the last photo for a scan of the PC40 in the 1952 Peugeot catalogue.
As with all our bikes, it's been fully stripped, inspected & professionally polished & re-built. The frame is straight & true without any dents or dings - please inspect the photos for cosmetic condition as we photograph the bikes so you can see the exact condition of the bike before purchasing.
