Late 80s Battaglin, hand-built in Italy from Columbus Cromor tubing, the successor to Columbus Aelle. This one sports a full Shimano 1050 series groupset (including original pedals) with 3ttt & SR finishing kit. Hand-built wheels using classic Mavic MA40 gunmetal rims.
With typically short wheelbase, it's a lively ride as you would expect from Battaglin. As an added bonus, all you need to do is change the brake levers to make it Eroica ready as this groupset was introduced to the world in 1986 with the option of aero or non-aero brake levers. We can change this for you on request, but it came with aero levers so this is the way we kept it.
As with all our bikes, it's been fully stripped, inspected & re-built, keeping all the original parts unless replacements were needed. The frame is straight & true without any structural damage - please inspect the photos for cosmetic condition as we photograph the bikes so you can see the exact condition of the bike before purchasing.
