Part of some of the most famous cycling teams of the 1980s, Acacio Da Silva was stage winner of the Giro and Tour De France whilst riding for both the Kas and Carerra Jeans teams back in the 1980s. There aren’t many examples of bikes carrying his name so we can only assume not many were made, but the few around are stunning machines.
This one’s no exception, with a full Dura-Ace 7400 series groupset, which has to be a strong contender for Shimano’s best ever groupset award. The black & chrome paint is a wonderful combination resulting in a truly classic looking bike from a period in history where beautiful design met supreme performance, the dream combination.
The bike's been taken apart, inspected & re-built in our workshop so we know everything's working as it should. The frame is straight & true without any dents or dings - please inspect the photos for cosmetic condition, we've photographed the bike in detail so you can see the exact condition before purchasing.
