You would be forgiven for assuming Geliano to be an Italian builder. In fact, they were made in the Loire region of France and were responsible for building some fascinating bikes. Almost entirely custom, usually of very high quality (often built by master frame builder Francis Quillon of CYFAC fame) and seldom with subtle paint. If you’re one of the few to have been to Cycles Duret (the shop where they were sold) and ordered a Geliano then you sure are a lucky soul.
We feel honoured to have this Geliano in our collection, and it most certainly fits in with their brand identity. You can see the type of custom work we’re talking about; jaw dropping galaxy paint, custom painted cranks & shifters, all on top of a wonderfully fillet brazed Columbus SLX frame with their trademark drilled fork crown. There’s some truly phenomenal work on display here. To top it all off the bike’s kitted out with quite possibly the finest groupset ever produced, Suntour Superbe Pro - Superbe by name and most certainly superb by nature.
It’s not often you get the chance to own a bike like this, so if it’s your size and you’re even the slightest bit tempted, don’t hold back - the Geliano wants you.
The bike's been taken apart, inspected & re-built in our workshop so we know everything's working as it should. The frame is straight & true without any dents or dings - please inspect the photos for cosmetic condition, we've photographed the bike in detail so you can see the exact condition before purchasing.
