New Site. Old Kit.

by Pedal Pedlar November 01, 2013

We've been rather busy bees recently, plugging away, re-designing and building our new online shop. As much as we loved the old one, there were a lot of things that we weren't happy with. So we bring to you, Pedal Pedlar mk2.

New features:

  • Promotions - The new design allows us to highlight offers so you know when you can save money
  • Shipping Calculator - Tells you the total shipping cost from within your cart
  • Lightbox Images - Allows for large, detailed product shots to see every detail (not on mobile)
  • Quickview - 1-click add to cart for easy shopping
  • Product Tagging - Makes it easy to view specifics such as size or price
  • Social Sharing - Simple ways to share content with friends
  • Custom Build Form - Contact us about your dream bike directly from the website
  • Online Workshop Booking - Book your bike in for a service online

Plus, above all else, the new site is optimized for mobile devices to make it much easier to shop when you're away from your PC.

The only downside is that we haven't added a great deal of new products over the last few weeks, but now this baby is live we can move on to photographing the piles of new stock that has been adding up.

We'd love to hear your feedback on the new site - if you have any ideas of how to improve the site or if you are having any issues, please get in touch via the contact page, but for now we hope you enjoy your shopping.

If you enjoyed this article please don't forget to share it around 😊
