Modolo Flash set of 4 rim brake pads (or blocks, or shoes if you prefer), hailing from Italy and in production from the 1970s to the 1980s (yet still new & unused after all this time). Weighing in at 86 grams (the weight and price displayed is for 4 pads). A fine choice for keeping your vintage bike authentic, but also great for any other compatible bike.
If you're taking part in L'Eroica or any other vintage event, this is fully compliant - so rest assured, the pre-1987 police won't lock you up for having the wrong brake pads!

NB: Modern production brake pads will normally offer the best performance, but if you wish to keep everything period correct original ones are still a great option. As with all vintage parts though, they must be installed correctly and ridden with care.

We've been safely sending orders around the world since 2010. There's a handy shipping calculator on the shopping cart page so you can see the cost of postage as soon as you've added it to your basket. Your order will be carefully packed and sent with tracking & insurance. We normally despatch orders on Tuesdays and Fridays, although larger items may occasionally take an extra day or two to prepare.
We accept returns, please notify us within 14 days and ensure the item arrives back with us no later than 30 days after the order was received.
EU Customers - for orders under €150 (excluding delivery), import VAT and the new €3 customs duty are paid as part of your order - nothing further to pay on delivery! For all other orders, import fees will be payable to the carrier before delivery, with nothing collected at checkout.
USA Customers - import fees are now collected at checkout for all orders to the USA, so there won’t be any surprise charges when your order arrives.
Other International Customers - local import fees may apply and are not collected by us. Please check your country's import rules before purchasing.

Brake Fit - brake pads are specific to the type of brake so you need to use the correct ones.
Pad Type - replaceable (also known as cartridge) brake pads have inserts that can be replaced once they wear out. With one piece pads you do not have this option.
Rim Type - some wheel rims such as ceramic or carbon ones require brake pads to be made of specific compounds. If you have steel rims you can use pads designed for alloy rims but you will get much better performance when using the correct pads.
